Ekko starts JK
You started school this week. WOWOWOWOWOW! I can't hardlybelieve it. I think Daddy was a bit more sentimental about itthan he likes to admit. The night before you were to start Ifound Daddy sleeping with you. He loves to hold his little Ekko(or Ekbo as he calls you these days). You and Daddy are now offon an adventure together. You sure love that Daddy of yours.
So back to the school business, your teacher's name is Ms Lewis and youlike her. The morning you were supposed to start school, you wereawake at a quarter to seven. You never wake up before 8:30. You told me that you didn't want to be late! And then when itstarted to pour rain you were so upset. You were afraid that theywould cancel school because of the rain. But eventually you weredressed and we were on our way. When we got to school, you couldhardly wait to run in. The teacher showed you your cubicle withyour name on it, and you hung up your coat. The biggest complaintyou had from the day was that I came back to pick you up before youwere ready to go home! I hope that you will always loveschool. Monday morning it starts the regular program foryou. Apparently you made one friend the other day and are lookingforward to playing with that kid again.
Bless you my dolly. My beautiful little dolly who is so grownup. Sara and Dietmar came to visit. They brought you a toypig. Makes you so happy! You carry that pig aroundeverywhere these days. Yesterday we went to the farm withAuntie. Of course we had to sit by the pig pen for a longtime. Zoe liked them a lot too. Auntie and Uncle Aldo aremoving back up to the Soo soon. You keep getting a bit sad aboutthat but mostly are just trying to enjoy doing stuff together for now.
Alana had a sleepover with you the other night. You girls came upwith some interesting ideas. Alana started calling Zoe "ourlittle Chinese baby". When I asked why, she said it was because"Chinese means likes to kiss". You both are a bitnuts. Cute but nuts.
I love you so much angel girl. - Mommy
