Hot weather
My big beauty girl. Lots of hot weather has been around lately. Our air conditioner broke down and that was a bit of a pain. While we were without ac we would often go to the mall or something like that to get cool. It was fun going to the mall with you and Zoe. We'd grab an ice cream cone and head to the water fountain. You'd be in bliss as you'd eat your cone and chat. Then you would throw into the water as many pennies as I could find in my purse. It sure isn't hard to make you happy!
We also started going swimming with Nathan and James D'Silva a bit. Zoe and James are the same age, and so are you and Nathan (sort of). You guys were jumping fiends today. Both you and Nathan constantly were jumping off the side of the pool. When the whistle blew to get you out of the pool, you were both a bit sad. But Nathan is coming to our house tomorrow so that thought cheered you up.
Daddy is such a good daddy. He's always trying to figure out ways to do fun things with his girls. Last night we went to Uncle Paul's condo and went swimming there. You had a grand old time playing with daddy in the water and sitting in the hot tub. Afterwards we went to a little diner to get some snacks because we were hungry. You swung your legs and chatted away. So happy to be out with Daddy. On Saturday we had a fun outing too. We went to Marion's place. She has a swimming pool in her building and that was loads of fun too. You were so funny. We were going to get a babysitter so Mommy and Daddy could go to a movie. You pouted away about not wanting a sitter. But when I told Daddy that Marion had agreed to watch you, you were so blissfully excited. You cried when we had to leave Marion's house. I'm sure she'll let you go back again. Daddy had the idea that after the movie we should all go swimming at Marion's condo. She agreed and fed us way too well. We sure are doing lots of swimming but boy is it fun. Zoe loves it too.
Speaking of swimming, Sam loves swimming in your swimming pool. Every time she comes to visit she runs straight to the backyard and jumps in your pool. You love Sam a lot. I think you also like holding her leash and bossing her around.
Right now you are relaxing with your favourite new movie. Daddy got you Tigger movie up at Pacific Mall and you've watched it a dozen times at least. Zoe is obstructing your view and you aren't happy. I better go help. Love, Mommy
