Funny love
What a cutie you are. Sometimes I am shocked at how grown up youare, and the things that you say. The other day we were headingto church and I grabbed my hat before we left home. You said"mommy, you need to just think of your hat like medicine". Smartgirl! Another time we were playing and you said "My sister-in-lawlikes her cappucino hot." Your sister-in-law eh? Apparentlyher name is Goldfish Towel Seahorse. You thought you were prettyclever thinking that up!
Somehow with getting a new tenant in our basement, it has stirred upfor you many memories of Jesse. Daily you are creating massivequantities of letters and pictures. Many of these go in envelopesand out the mail slot in the door. When people come to visit theyoften hand me several envelopes that they have collected off our frontporch! We did mail one yesterday though in the real mail.
On Monday we went to an indoor playground with Auntie Hiroko, Alana andEmma. It was quite chilly outside and Auntie Hiroko came up withthe idea. She was tired of freezing in the park. Boy it wasfun. You and Alana were all over the place. There wereoodles of ropes to climb, slides to go on, ladders, tubes, tunnels, andall sorts of stuff. You were exhausted before the morning wasover. At one point I looked over to see Alana pulling you out ofa slide. You were so tired you could hardly move. Alanasaid to me "Ekko says she's tired because she has a baby in hertummy". Two seconds later you were off and running. It wasgreat to see you have so much fun with your cousins. We'll haveto do that again!
You are full of why questions these days. And you want to knowthe meaning of everything we say. The other night when we werepraying before you went to sleep you asked Daddy "is there more thanone god?" Theological discussions at the age of three.
Good night my angel girl. I love you! – Mommy
