I’m a big slacker…
… with blog posts.
I’ve been wanting to blog every day, but no! I’ve been busy. FAWM is so different than Nanowrimo. Why? Because you display your works to people as you get it done. That means people can comment on them. And then I feel inclined to comment on their songs. And this takes up a buttload of time! Commenting takes more time than the forums, the chatroom. I’ve actually stopped listening to people I haven’t already ‘befriended’ because I’m scared I’m going to comment on their song and enter the engulfing vortex of comments that sucks the marrow from my bones.
But, I got a bunch of songs done. And people like my songs, at least, they say so in comments. So that’s great! The one I am proud of is the “Sensitive Polka”. That one makes me laugh. But I do like the song of “Why did you Touch My Zong!”.
And last night, my lent me a MIDI keyboard. I was so excited, I started writing a love song to my band at 11pm and didn’t finish recording it until 1am.
And then today? Well, I made a ‘pretty’ piano piece for someone named Roxanne, whom I accidentally called Roxette. I actually liked the piece and was almost hoping she wouldn’t want what I wrote. But she liked it. *laugh*
Then, I worked on the collab for Chagall, which is a Discworld song.
It is very weird. Like… popera. It reminds me of Harry Potter, and Phantom of the opera, but lacking the essence of both. Ah well, the song was growing on me after I listened to it about ten times.
AND the final exciting thing was I sent off all my music to my CD printer! Huzzah! My guitarist and drummer got me the final elements of the 10th song! So hopefully I can have the CD in my HAND!
So exciting.
And now I’m off to sleep. I still have a collab with Whispered Candles to do (Vampire/Werewolf broadway duet) and one with Vix! Fawm sure is busy. Much busier than nanowrimo. *sigh*
Sorry guys, for not posting on your blogs. I will get to it on Friday! 😀 I am excited to see Vix post like a fiend. It’s great to see other people than me using this. 😀
