So freaking busy…
It’s lunch time. I was writing a program for work, having problems with it, and now I’m thinking I should do it a completely different way. Ugh.
So I’m taking a lunch break and getting caught up on Creative Geeks. I’m so busy.
I was exhausted on Saturday night, and went to bed at 8 or 9pm. But of course I woke up on sunday morning at around 6:00am.
So I worked on my song Vampire Werewolf: The Musical. It’s a collab with Whispered Candles and Andrew Loyd Webberish. 🙂 She came up with the lyrics, and I wrote the music and tweaked the lyrics to fit in the song. I don’t know why I’m agreeing to do MUSIC. That’s not my strength! I find it so hard. 😀
But, I worked on it for about 5 hours on sunday. Three hours in the morning, and then throughout the day, I spent another two to three hours on it. Very tiring. But I was pleased with the result.
I sent it to her, and she got back with vocals for me on Monday night! So I worked on fixing up the vocals (removing hissing sounds) and posted it! I do like the song.
And, all I’ve been doing was working on collabs, so I decided to write another challenge last night. It was a cartoon show theme song, and the person in the threads even pinpointed my name since my inspiration was Animaniacs. So I wrote a song called “Manny the Zombie” and had my girls sing in it.
They’re not too good with sings like rhythm, so I had to change the tempo, but it was fun trying to get them to yell out “ANIMATED DEAD” and “HE GOT SUSY!”. Surprisingly, my wife seemed ok with all of this.

And I still have a lot of work to do. Doing some graphic design that needs to get done, I need to learn a song (and write the melody) my guitarist wrote and decide on music for church this Sunday, and I have all these things to do at work.
And then this weekend is VALENTINE’S DAY! My Anniversary!
But I’m awaiting my Geek Love Song CD which is coming today hopefully! Huzzah! I can’t wait. 😀
