8 Stikfas Animation Test

Yes, I’ve changed the name on these things because they weren’t tutorials anymore. Ah well.

New for this month, I’ve been hanging out at Video Copilot and learning how to use Adobe After Effects. I’m having a grand old time, and I made a new quick intro.

And then I did some more special effects which you can see during the burping. The mouth is distorted so his jaw is wider. I used the liquify tool for that and manually placed the mouth for the burp.

And then the kick I had to do TWICE because the first time I did it there wasn’t any weight at all behind the kick.

And in the end, the thing is only 12 seconds long, or something like that.

I blame my allergies. Every night I’m exhausted from sneezing and my eyes have been killing me, so I haven’t been doing much animation.

How’s that for complaining? 😀 I’m trying to type through this quickly because my girls are watching youtube beside me. I’m making them watch my videos. And then we’re off to some school thing.

I don’t know what we’re doing, I was just told to go.
