Geek Love Song – More Than That
So as all of you don’t know, my 10th anniversary is coming up in February 14th (yes, Valentines day, because I’m that cheesy and forgetful).
As a gift to my wife, I am going to give her a CD of songs that I have written for her. They are geek songs, most of them are lame, but I’m doing it anyway.
I’m not a professional or anything, I just like doing these things for fun.
I just finished the 9th song, which I placed on my profile page and it’s called More Than That.
I don’t know if I like it. It’s short, only a minute and a half, but it seems really… I dunno. My guitarist did the music, and I liked what he wrote, I just don’t like what I sang.
And writing it was hard too.
Ah well, I can’t talk about this on facebook, because my wife is on there and so I have to be all secretive. But I want to write about my progress, so I’ll do it here.

She does know some of the songs though. Like the vid I posted, that’s one she does know about. She knows about six of the songs, she just doesn’t know I have another four and am going to give her a CD.
So if you’re a geek (which you probably are) and you’re bored, give em a listen. The songs are all works in progress so if I get some good feedback, I may change the songs. Unless the feedback is “scrap the sucka!”. Then I won’t listen. 😀
“More Than That” is a word association type of song. There are many geek references in it. See if you can figure them out. Not so much because it’s a puzzle, it’s more for me to know if you can even understand half the things I’m saying.
