Elumir Intro

Allo all! It’s been a long time. Two reasons, one is that we were on vacation and I was playing Railroad Tycoon.

The second is that my wife is lazy.

Well, ok, that’s not really true, but she didn’t update anything, did she? And I had important trains to play with.

I finished my book, by the way. I spent most of my vacation forcing my sister to edit it. You can take a look at it on lulu.com. Search for ‘Enchantress’. Or, if you are really lazy and must need a link to clink on, here ya go: Enchantress Lulu Link. Don’t buy it though! I don’t make any money or anything off of it, so go ahead and download it! It’s free! See, it says, FREE DOWNLOAD. It’s not trialware, or shareware, or crippleware. It won’t download DRM software to your machine, nor will it ask you to register or anything like that! Well, lulu may, you have to give your email address. But I, personally, will not add you to any mailing lists. Honest. Except mine. Which is spam in itself (remember that whole Ekko voting thing last time?)
And the video? Yes, I made another video for my parents which they can lose in their house but lie and say they watched. It’s a new Elumir Intro, and by clicking that link, you can see how much I haven’t lost any weight since the last intro.

I better get in shape or something. My DDR playing has been lacking, but I blame the holidays on that. I have been craving it. I even was tempted to go to an arcade and play it. Keren suggested we go for a walk. That was quickly shot down. It’s cold in Calgary! Well, the two days she made me go outside to the park, that was cold.

Ekko loves snow though, regardless of weather. She was out there playing in the snow, and I think it was -20 without the windchill.

I’m moving Keren to my Mac to do all her computing needs. I don’t trust windows anymore. Yes, that was an abrupt right turn in my train of thought (see how I brought it back to trains again? I loved Railroad Tycoon). I should figure out how to put footnotes on these posts. There are a wack of them in my crappy new book which you shouldn’t buy but you should download and distribute it to your friends! I put a common … something or other… license on it. Creative commons. I think. So that means it’s LEGAL to copy it and distribute it to friends! I won’t, and can’t, sue you! I would be pleased if you read it and gave me rave reviews about how intelligent and terribly good looking you find me.

I’ll have a real update one of these days. Hopefully, Dove will too. She keeps telling me all these wonderful stories of our children, and she never puts them on here. I think it’s because she hates you prying into our lives like this. This whole blog thing was her idea, trust me on that. So was the Railroad Tycoon thing…I didn’t want to play it at all, but she forced me to play the game. If I had it my way, I’d be outside, trying to escape my depression, and smelling flowers with a big bowl of yogurt to slurp down.

Mmm mmm, nothing like live bacteria to get your day going.

(Ya ya, I know, we have bacteria in us all the time, but that doesn’t mean we willingly do it…unless we’re trying to get rid of yeast infection. Woops, there’s me crossing that line again. I usually count on people not clicking on the more button when they see it’s a post by me.)
