Two years old
So you are two. Two years old. My girlie had a birthday party and all she wanted was "cake", "black cake". Ekko and Mommy made you a butterfly birthday cake. All day long you asked if it was time to eat cake. When your party came, the cake made you so happy. Now when people ask about your birthday you say "cake" and smile with immense satisfaction.
Lolo and Lola came to visit for your birthday. One of the things you still talk about is "lolo read stories me". Both Lolo and Lola are Lolo to you so I think you really meant Lola. You love books.
We went up to Grandpa and Grandma's house for a week's holidays. That trip gets talked about in reference to your canoe rides. I think you could have lived in the canoe. You also like to talk about auntie. But we laugh when you do because you tend to put "h" sounds in front of it. You also say funny things like "mine home" or "mine dog" instead of my. So cute. You sure talk a lot. And we like asking you questions to get you to talk more.
The other night it was quite late and you were still awake. I said "Zoe, Ekko is asleep. Mommy and Daddy want to go to bed. You need to go to sleep." You said "okay. Daddy go. Go bed." You lay in bed sing baby beluga over and over. In between songs you would say (loudly) "ONE MORE TIME". You'd make a good song leader at a camp revival meeting.
I love you two year old. – Mommy
