Quick note

My dolly is so funny.  Every morning when you wake up these days you immediately run to your kitchen and start cooking.  You are always making mommy tea and trying to bring it to me in bed.  I think you learned about it in a story where Robbie and Emily make breakfast for their mommy in bed.  It is pretty cute anyway.  And mommy is so tired these days it is a good excuse for mommy to rest while you happily play.  I just need to pretend to drink several dozen cups of tea.

Yesterday was a rainy day so we stayed home and did stuff here.  It was nice to spend the day just the two of us in our new house.  I think that’s the first time.  We baked cookies (daddy thinks they taste funny) but it was jolly fun anyway.  You ate half the batter. 

Preston and Edith Sewell came for supper last night.  They are great people from the church.  You call her Mrs Edith and him Grandpa Preston.  Although, last night when they were leaving you asked me if Preston’s mommy had a dog at her house.  I didn’t tell Edith though.  I didn’t know if she would find it as funny as I did.  Then today when we were playing play dough you said “look what you made!  That’s so cute.”  and then you added “Preston tells me that outside last night.”  You really enjoyed their visit.  And I think they enjoyed being here too.

Anyway, it is a nice cool day outside so we should get out and enjoy it.  I love you beautykins. – Love, Mommy
