Computer addict
Yesterday I tried to write you a letter and the computer ate it. Ate least that is what I think happened, seeing as it disappeared. I don’t share the same love of computers that you and daddy have. It’s so funny when we go to Daddy’s work now because we have a hard time getting you to leave. You tear in there and once you have greeted Daddy you are off to the computers. You love playing on the them, especially with the arts programs. You also really like playing with Tammy (one of the girls that works there).
You also love your new Puppy. Ada bought you a dog hand puppet and you take him everywhere. Literally. The other day it was funny because when you saw the computers at Daddy’s work, you sat Puppy down on a table and raced over to sit at a computer. Then you climbed back down, ran back to Puppy to apologize for leaving him. Very sweetly you asked if he wanted to see the computer too. And then you sat him up to watch you playing. It was sweet. For some reason Puppy is really your special friend these days. The other day when we were driving over to Auntie Hiroko’s house you held Puppy in your arms and practiced saying half way over there “No Lani. This is my Puppy.” At church on Sunday when Doreen tried to see your puppy (she’s in her 90’s) you told her she wasn’t allowed to play with him. She found it quite hilarious.
You are growing up so fast. Your words and actions are getting more like a big girl all the time. The other night I told Daddy that I needed to have a bath because I felt gross. You took off upstairs and started running the water for me. And put all your bath toys in the tub for me to play with. Such a nice girl. The whole time I was in the tub you stayed with me and talked to me so I wouldn’t be lonely.
It is funny all the things you do to copy us. Yesterday while I was making the bed you were sitting at the desk playing. I head a funny sort of noise and looked to see what you were doing. There you were with Daddy’s deodorant plastering it all over your body. You assured me that you didn’t want to stink.
I can’t remember everything that I was writing yesterday. Oh well. I guess that updates you a little on what’s been happening. You are the bestest in the westest my girl. – Love, Mommy
I can see it now, Ekko will be a little Errol, starting debates with Shang qi over the use of deodorant 🙂 Offering it to others. LOL.
Aww
AWWW Ekko you are SO CUTE!!!! I miss seeing you, I hope you’ll love your new house Ekko. :grin
Well Ekko, when I was in at Daddys work I went on the arts program and who do I see as the user name….but Ekko…you are just all over there.
And I can see Tammy being a good play mate…I mean your almost the same size.
