Copying Mommy

You know, sometimes I forget how much you watch what we do.  This morning we were at church and you were playing with your good friend Christopher Robin (his name is Christopher Mori but you always call him Christopher Robin).  Anyway, at one point I heard you say “Stay right there.  Don’t move.  I’ll be right back!”  When I turned around you were even shaking your finger at him.  It’s just like when you are all dirty and Mommy wants you to wait till I get a cloth to wipe your fingers. 

This afternoon we were playing outside and you were pushing your dolly down the street in his stroller.  Suddenly you started carrying the stroller.  When I asked what you were doing, you told me that we were getting on the subway!  That’s how Mommy helps you and your stroller go on the subway isn’t it?!

And tonight you started to eat a pretend apple.  You were the mommy and I was Ekko.  You told me that you ate the skin off for me first and then handed me the play apple.  You never eat any apple skin and Mommy always has to eat the skin first.  It was cute.  When I said oh, you ate the skin for me, you told me “copying Mommy”.

Now it is getting late and time for bed.  We had a fun and busy day.  I love my little copying girl.  You are so precious beauty.  Night, night.  Sweet dreams! – Mommy
